The short version
No analytics or marketing cookie is written before you record a choice. Not on the first page view, not anywhere. Necessary cookies — the ones that keep you signed in and remember your cart — are set regardless, because the site cannot function without them.
Categories
- Necessary — sign-in, cart, region, theme and your consent record. Always on, and not switchable.
- Analytics — helps us see which products buyers look for and which searches come back empty. Off until you allow it.
- Marketing — lets us measure whether a campaign worked. Off by default, even under “Accept all” you can turn it off again at any time.

Changing your mind
Use the Cookie settings link in the footer, or Account → Cookies & privacy. Withdrawing consent stops the relevant scripts immediately and expires the associated cookies.
